Breaking the Spell
Recorded Lecture, 1 hr., 4 min., 56 sec.
KUKEC: HOLA! how have you been?
Sorry I was texting in analogies...
RAMOS: "I am tied to the stone waiting for your first swerve"
it wouldn't be my swerve would it?
KUKEC: do you know what a pugilist is?
RAMOS: let me look it up
KUKEC: I guess you can say that.
RAMOS: a master of hand-to-hand combat?
KUKEC: yes I guess that both a Boxer and Master of Hand to hand combat is correct in the three dimensional world... But yet again I am going to my romantic core...and think and feel that "A Pugilist" some how exist in all of us... consciousness is the boxer and the stone is the body...
RAMOS: in some sense is that like the Dicrocoelium Dentriticum?
KUKEC: Ha! The Fluke! That was very good! Not sure... Ideologies are very much like Dicrocoelium Dentriticum... so sadly in a round about way, I guess yeah floating... but I am not so sure about free.
RAMOS: are we all predetermined to fight?
is that what you mean?
KUKEC: Never really certain what I mean... or what my intentions are I'm suspicious of my own memories... I've discovered that over time they can... they can deceive... there once was a "time (?)" perhaps un masse "we" all fought...
RAMOS: after that video I am suspicious of my own intentions too
where they come from
and where they are going
for what service
KUKEC: where they come from... The Stewards of Humanity... the infamous "THEY"!
RAMOS: THEY or GOD ?
most of the time is one or the other
KUKEC: I AM A STRANGE LOOP
I feel Hofsteder's Ego creeping around again...
RAMOS: TANGLED HIERARCHY
KUKEC: I am not sure... but in this existence.... this reality we can observe many Tangled Hierarchy's... a funny thing though... In quantum mechanics, particles do not have a definite state unless they’re being observed...
RAMOS: like that experiment with the cat in the box...
KUKEC: Chaos? Chance? The Higgs Boson... the god particle?
RAMOS: The God Particle - isn't that a programmer's dream?
i guess it is easier to reference religion than computer science
KUKEC: well that all hinges on your programing...
the point being - did we acquire these believes as in free-floating rationales
KUKEC: every read Trainspotting, by Irvine Welsh?
or perhaps you say the movie?
I would guess the point being... to echo Mark "Rent-boy" Renton: [narrating] Choose Life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family. Choose a fucking big television, choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players and electrical tin openers. Choose good health, low cholesterol, and dental insurance. Choose fixed interest mortgage repayments. Choose a starter home. Choose your friends. Choose leisurewear and matching luggage. Choose a three-piece suit on hire purchase in a range of fucking fabrics. Choose DIY and wondering who the fuck you are on Sunday morning. Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing, spirit-crushing game shows, stuffing fucking junk food into your mouth. Choose rotting away at the end of it all, pissing your last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish, fucked up brats you spawned to replace yourselves. Choose your future. Choose life... But why would I want to do a thing like that? I chose not to choose life. I chose something' else. And the reasons? There are no reasons. Who needs reasons when you've got heroin?
My favorite part is... There are no reasons.
RAMOS: well... sure and this is a very interesting topic
on heroin you are perhaps disconnected from the free-floating rationales
and the represented rationales
on heroin you can make your own reality, existence, exit
you are completely disconnected
KUKEC: And what would you say is the heroin of the masses?
RAMOS: some will say religion
someone famous said "religion is the opiate of the masses"
"religion is the opium of the people"
i think television used to be and now SOCIAL MEDIA
KUKEC: Yeah I think Marx never really understood why there was a middle class... I often wonder what our ideologies would be like if there never was the human "time" of AD. Also try imagine what the indigenous peoples of the northern and southern americas would be like today if they never had to experience genocide.
RAMOS: well look that the indigenous tribes in the amazon
there are still over 50 unidentified tribes
and hundreds undergoing transition
a good majority of them are dealing with the same issues as everyone else
KUKEC: and we collectively know as the west... are killing them slowly.
along with our selves..
RAMOS: perhaps killing ourselves is a free-floating rationale
or a represented rational
i would say the latter
mankind makes rules against one another
i don't think God ever made rules
KUKEC: only the stewards of humanity that created "God" create the "Laws" the rational ... that make humble people love and fear him... so imagine them saying or better yet simple doing.
RAMOS: so you think God has been "created" by humans?
KUKEC: That's my swerve.
